FINAL SCENE OF MOVIE TO BE SHOT AT FIDDLEHEADS IN PERTH

Calling all movie lovers, actors, and would-be actors.

W.T.S. Entertainment is in the process of shooting its latest movie and is looking for people to be extras in the final

scene, as well as for a few more actors to fill some smaller parts.

The final scene in the movie is to be a disco dance/fight scene shot at Fiddleheads Bar and Grill in Perth and W.T.S.

is looking for extras in crazy 70's disco suits.

"The crazier the better," says Julie O'Halloran who is the production manager and publicist for the company as well as

being an actor in the movie, "but if people don't have time to run out and find a crazy suit, they can just come in

normal clothes and have a great time." There will be someone on-site to teach everyone a few dance moves as well.

And since there are still some small parts to be filled, anyone who would like an audition is asked to come to the shoot

and exchange information with the group in order to set up an audition time.

In addition to being a film shoot, the event is also a fundraiser for the movie. There will be a $4.00 charge to get in and

all the proceeds will go towards covering the costs of equipment and costumes.

The movie is a wacky action-comedy spy spoof entitled Idiot and the Scorpion and is the second full-length movie

by W.T.S. Entertainment.

The story follows the world's worst secret agent as he tries to protect an heiress from being assassinated by Scorpion

Force--an evil group that wants the oil company she has just inherited after the Force killed her father.

As with their first movie Zarko, W.T.S. is using all local actors--either from Perth or Ottawa and the movie is being shot

in both locations. However, this production differs from the first one in that the majority of Zarko was shot over an

eight day stretch, while this one is being filmed one section a week.

"We're shooting in bunches," explains Ms. O'Halloran.

She goes on to say they are putting this movie together much like the last one--everyone is helping out in their area

of expertise and making it a "group effort again this time." They are also going to promote it the same way by pushing

it at digital festivals and such.

"We're going to do what we did last time only twice as big--double our efforts," she says.

The group is hoping to have everything ready for a fall release date.

"We're hoping to be all set and ready to go in September," says Ms. O'Halloran.

The shooting of the final scene is to be on Wednesday, May 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Fiddleheads Bar and Grill, 53

Herriott St., Perth. Actors and spectators are welcome to attend.
