ENTERTAINMENT NOTES Ottawa film company seeks extras for action-comedy spy spoof An Ottawa movie company is looking for extras. W.T.S. Entertainment, which showed its comedy-horror Zarko at Algonquin College in April, is now finishing its next movie, Idiot and the Scorpion, an action-comedy spy spoof. The company is inviting the public as it shoots the final scene of Idiot and the Scorpion tomorrow night at Fiddleheads Bar and Grill 53 Herriott St. in Perth. The final scene is a disco-dance fight scene with ninjas, and those who want to be extras or disco dancers are asked to attend. Would-be film stars are asked to pay $4.00 at the door, as the evening will also serve as a fundraiser to pay for some equipment and costume costs. Those who want to be extras should wear tacky suits and '70s disco clothes. A dance instructor will be on hand. The shooting starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. |
