Independent film screening in city

An Ottawa production company is screening its comedy Idiot and the Scorpion in Brockville and looking for actors and crew for its next production.
Where's the Soup Entertainment is screening their spy spoof at Buds on the Bay Wednesday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $4.
The group, who met in Algonquin College's theatre arts program, have performed in the Ottawa Fringe Festival, won the Carleton University Improv Bowl and now made their second feature film on a shoestring.
The film follows bumbling Max Damage, a secret agent sent to protect sweet young thing Trixie Pearson from deadly assassins sent by an evil organization bent on world domination. The company's asking local actors and qualified sound, lighting and camera operators to shoot a third film this summer.
